Refund and Returns Policy

At Saugaat Handmade, every piece of jewellery is crafted by hand with love and care. We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, please read our policy below carefully.

  1. Return Window

We accept return requests within 48 hours of delivery of the product.

  • Return request must be raised within 48 hours of receiving the order.
  • After 48 hours, return requests will not be accepted.
  • To raise a return request, go to My Orders on our website and click ‘Request Return’.
  1. Eligible Reasons for Return

Returns are accepted only for the following reasons:

  • Product received is damaged or broken.
  • Wrong product delivered (different from what was ordered).
  • Product is significantly different from the description shown on website.
  • Missing item in the order.
  1. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products that have been used, worn, or altered.
  • Products not in original packaging.
  • Customized or personalized jewellery items.
  • Items purchased during sale or special discount events.
  • Return requests raised after 48 hours of delivery.
  1. Refund Policy — COD Orders

COD (Cash on Delivery) Refund Process

Since COD orders are paid in cash at delivery, refund will be processed manually by Saugaat Handmade directly to the customer’s bank account or UPI.

Step 1:  Raise return request within 48 hours on website.

Step 2:  Fill your bank account details / UPI ID in the return form.

Step 3:  Our team will verify your return request within 24 hours.

Step 4:  Return pickup will be arranged via Delhivery courier.

Step 5:  Refund will be transferred to your UPI/bank account within 3-5 business days after product is received back.

  1. Refund Policy — Prepaid Orders

Prepaid (Online Payment) Refund Process

• Refund will be processed to the original payment method (UPI / Card / Netbanking).

• Razorpay will process the refund automatically.

• Refund reflects in your account within 5-7 business days.

• You will receive an email/SMS confirmation once refund is initiated.

  1. Return Shipping
  • Return pickup will be arranged by Saugaat Handmade via Delhivery courier — free of charge for eligible returns.
  • Customer does not need to pay for return shipping for damaged or wrong product cases.
  • For ‘change of mind’ returns, shipping charges may apply.
  1. Exchange Policy

We currently offer exchange for the following cases:

  • Wrong size or wrong product delivered.
  • Exchange request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Exchange is subject to product availability.
